GREAT question. Aside from Dr. Burnette’s love of these scaly reptiles, alligators share a lot of similarities with our practice
Alligator fossils date back 37 million years ago, possibly earlier. While our office has not been around for that long, our office has been in Wendell for quite awhile, nearly 70 years.
Did you know Alligators typically have between 75 and 80 teeth? They also have nearly 52 sets of teeth, yielding 3,000 teeth in their lifespan! Now, us humans are not as fortunate. That’s where we come in. Since we don’t have these unique regenerative properties, our job is to help you protect the teeth you have, AND replace the ones you don’t!
Have you ever heard stories of the mama gator? Once the babies begin to emerge from their shells, the mother gator will ferociously defend the hatchlings for several years. Loyalty is one of our most cherished values in our practice. When you join our practice, you are considered family, and we will do everything we can to protect your oral health.
So if you want to know why gators are always smiling, come stop by and see us.
